Is it a Duck? Is it a Chick? No, it’s a Super pen! Well, super as in super cute, not super-powered. But as far as identifying the species of the bird perched on the top, the jury is still out. Here at the Kawaii Stationery secret headquarters, we’re a bit divided. Some say it’s obviously modeled after a rubber ducky. Others, after looking at the pretty little decorations on the barrel, insist it is obviously a chick heralding in Springtime. Either way, everyone agrees, they epitomise the essence of all things Kawaii, and they’re great. Putting some light pressure onto said bird ( we didn’t want to say, press the bird until it clicks, it sounds mean), reveals a ballpoint that writes in blue ink. And if you decide to buy one, you can make your own mind up, chick, duck or chuck… actually, we think that suits him.
